Known as King of Himalayan flower. very lucky if u see it bloom. botanical name: Saussurea obvallata .Brahma Kamal blooms only at night. And only once a year which makes it a bit auspicious. So for most people, this calls for a celebration. People are invited to watch the bloom. There is a lot of gossip revolving around the blooming of the flower. Some people go to the extent of claiming only lucky people get to see the process
